The Swift and Terrible Race

Self-released

A six-song EP exploding out of Atlanta with no explanation given, no rest allowed. Somewhere on the edges of post hardcore, with one foot on the rock. Heavy melodic, with influences dripping off the tip of my tongue. Maybe hints of some Dinosaur Jr. inspired noise, but deeper threads pull through the mix. Emo hit and twisted, but finding a distinct voice. It’s not Piebald, but they could definitely play on the same bill. There’s a very nice instrumental, but mostly sort of Sunny Day vocals dreaming across almost painful guitar, but it’s really a bit too sad to hurt. Stronger than it sounds, and sometimes deeper than water can be.
