retired 67 and deaf

The Louis H. Smith Foundation is an organization devoted to the preservation and promotion of the collected works (mostly in the form of letters) of Louis H. Smith, a retired and deaf draftsman whose techno-prophecies have proven, time and again, to provide lucid interpretation of the events of our modern society. The Foundation’s site, retired 67 and deaf, presents eleven of Smith’s letters for public viewing. Smith is not afraid to tackle any subject, though he focuses on computers, windshields, demons, slavery, and pornography. Check it out for a glimpse at one of the greatest unsung thinkers of our time.
