Looper
The Geometrid
Sub Pop
If you heard the first Looper album, you have a pretty good idea of what this album holds. There’s some distorted vocals sing songing about things that could be kind of silly, if you try and take this too seriously. There are some nice grooves and beats that repeat until the song ends, and some good rhythms that can get stuck in your head if you’re not careful (sorta like “Land of the Loops”… you know the song I’m talking about…). There are some interesting sounds that shoot mellow spaceman style through the vibe, and some spoken word electro bebop beats that you can just snap your fingers to. I think I like it… but I think I liked the last one too.
