Live at the Blue Room

Various Artists

Yanstar

A brilliant compilation of songs, all recorded live in the small theatre in Chico, California. Mostly seeming to be on the emo rock edge, but with some nice contributions by Richard Buckner, Edith Frost, and shack rockers Gardener to round out the edges. The highlights (in my eyes) are the two Braid songs, which really make me wish I had managed to see them before their demise, Burning Airlines rocking like only they can, and Dismemberment Plan opening the CD with a brilliant performance of “What Do You Want Me To Say?”.
