764-Hero

Weekends Of Sound

Up

The latest from 764-Hero hits me hard and immediate. You can feel them in your blood. Still gaining their own voice and slipping out of the shadows that have hung over them. Sure, you can still hear that Northwest sound, hanging in with sounds that you could place next to Modest Mouse, Built to Spill, and even that simple Pixies hint of noise at times, but steadily moving onwards on their own path, sounding more and more like a strong and unique band that has their own agenda, their own hearts. Full and chaotic at times, with the melodics cutting straight through. You just want to throw the windows open and turn the volume up.
