This Will Be Laughing Week

550 Music

Aggressive and fun, fast-forward rock and roll with a sharp pop edge. This band seems to have found a place to fall right between Cheap Trick and the Get Up Kids. Nice landing. Well crafted songs that twist you from rockin’ out at the high school prom back in ‘77 to getting slammed against the front of the stage at some all ages show last week. The hooks are catching, the vocals sing from harsh to sweet, to floating in the sky. That long hair blowing in the wind standing on a cliff kinda singing. The guitar chops clean, and rides against the rhythm, under some straight and smart drumming. Clap your hands, sing along, It’s summertime, and the pop may really rock, but it’s still oh, so sweet.
