Ben Grim/The Links

Split 7”

Two happy, punked-out high-energy rock songs from Wisconsin boys Ben Grim. Maybe along the lines of the Get Up Kids, but not at the same level of performance. Maybe soon… and I’d like to hear that. The B-side comes straight outta Japan, with two songs by the Links. A trio who pushes out a mean rock song. Punker than Ben Grim, I’d say, but with more of a Red Kross feel and maybe Ramones-edged choruses. The love of the guitar travels across oceans to play power chords, and in any language you want, it rocks.
