Elevator

A Taste of Complete Perspective

Teenage USA

Yes… Elevator is… To Hell, and Through, and now just… Elevator. Those crazy Canadians. We start out with a rainstorm, which carries through the entire CD… between all the songs. Dark nights, crows fly, a drizzle, foggy sounds… and in between this layer of atmosphere… the songs. Psychedelic and jamming riffs that go until you’re fully on their strange elevator trip. Heavy flower rock that makes you feel like your head is melting. The stretched notes, the fuzz and distortion… the bass line that pounds out like some Ummagumma overdose. The vocals drift like some prayer to divine hallucination, leading us into the heavy stoned rhythm that feels like a time machine. Like the lady sings… “My library in the weeds needs preparation to read….
