Backstage Pass

Volume 2

Inzane

Does anyone remember when you would watch those videos on different careers in middle school? They would have a video on being a doctor, or a police officer, or a rock star? Oh wait, they didn’t show the rock star one, but if they did, this is the video that they would use. This video is 60 minutes of bands talking about all the groupies they have screwed backstage on their buses. Papa Roach, Eve 6, Zebrahead, and Dope are some of the bands featured, as well as an appearance by Ron Jeremy. The video is funny for about 30 minutes and then it gets old, so unless you have your mind set on being a rock star, this video may get boring at the midpoint.

The fact that the band Slaves to Sirens exists is impressive, but that they live, love, and breathe to play metal takes things to another level. Sirens documents the journey. Review by Charles DJ Deppner.
