Shelflife

FAQ

What is this column about?

Shelflife is (generally) observations on the Darwinian processes taking place in our supermarkets daily. Products appear, diverge, change coloration, perform bizarre mating rituals and much more, in a complex dance that is visible only to the most perceptive. Or bored.

Is that it?

I guess not. Every once in a while, I may stray from the supermarket’s aisles, or delve into some inane commercial I just saw on TV. But generally, this column is all about selling it. You can find my other stuff elsewhere on this site.

Do you take requests?

Sure, why not. Let me know if you notice something worth covering in this column.
