Betty Blowtorch

Are You Man Enough?

Foodchain

Betty Blowtorch – featuring members of the tooth-loosening punk band Butt Trumpet – have unleashed a potent fifteen track CD. Although comparisons to Butt Trumpet are natural, especially in light of the band re-doing the Butt Trumpet song “I’m Ugly and I Don’t Know Why.” The truth is that Betty Blowtorch belongs more to The Runaways branch of the music family tree. With song titles like “Hell On Wheels,” “Part Time Hooker,” and “Shut Up and Fuck,” these ladies have not lost any of their edge or ability to offend. Hell, they even manage to have guest vocals from Vanilla Ice on the song “Size Queen.”
