Barsuk

Cute poppy quirky West Coast indie that snaps and moves. Sometimes the female vocals that fly across the melodics makes me think of old SF band, Fetchin’ Bones. There’s also a drunken flow to some of the guitar, like pop music staggering across the road at dusk, after a few martinis, perhaps. It dances across your ears, an elegant mess, a beautiful mix. Hints of The Spinanes, hints of poetry, hints of moving through sunsets and waiting for the rain to cool you down. Romantic at times, and shadowed at others. Bright drums, delicate guitars that turn rough, and smooth vocals that touch upon seduction.
