Experimenting With Contrast

Happy Couples Never Last

A sort of indierock supergroup, experimenting beyond the borders of their own bands. Members of The Trans Megetti, Sterling Silver, and Camera Obscura, with a special vocal appearance by C. Goldsby of Clickatat Ikatowi, get together and move through soaring sonicscapes and electric waves of melody and noise. Each song coming out as an epic, the drums crash and roll into minimal sentences, then guitars wind into explosions of creation. As mellow as Mogwai’s quieter moments, some dynamics touching upon a Three Mile Pilot brilliance, with an expansive energy that moves like a Jawbox song across your mind and it all fits together perfectly to feed your soul.
