Twisted Forever

A Tribute to Twisted Sister

Koch

What a great, fun tribute to a band that, the more I think about it, deserves a lot more. When was the last time you listened to Twisted Sister because you needed an injection of metal insanity? Good question. For me, I’d say at least once or twice a week, and there’s not a day that goes by when I don’t say to myself, “You Can’t Stop Rock N’ Roll,” which, by the way, is covered by Sebastian – oops, sorry, that’s Sabitchen or simply “Bas” – Bach. But don’t let that scare you away! Joan Jett performs “We’re Not Gonna Take It,” Fu Manchu does “Ride to Live (Live to Ride),” Cradle Of Filth does “The Fire Still Burns,” and Chuck D raps out “Wake Up the Sleeping Giant.” Oh, did I forget to mention that Nashville Pussy, Motörhead, Overkill, and Anthrax appear as well? This is an all-star tour-de-force that no SMF or potential SMF can miss.
