Fernando

Dreams of the Sun and Sky

Domingo

Taking a soft step back from the alt.country roots rocked guitar twang that filled the last Fernando album, which came out about two years ago, Dreams of the Sun and Sky starts out with a melancholy Leonard Cohen-touched tune, beautifully sad. From there the shadows just grow deeper, the feelings stronger. The vocals float a little lighter through the sad water strum of the guitar than the first track, but the tunes still hold your hands as they walk you through the sorrows in your soul, leading you through towards the light that waits. Smooth and melodic movements that make you fell better about when you feel bad.
