This is easy to describe, more difficult to appreciate. Twenty vignettes of Asian music from Hong Kong, Korea, and other points along the Ring of Fire. The sound is that unique blend of Eastern tonalities and Western structures and instrumentation (and sometimes vice-versa) – it’s quite the cliché, and quite engaging if you have an open mind. Don’t know what I can say beyond that… exotic and intriguing.
