Slightly surreal, bass-heavy, almost cabaret-style goth tones creep out against a slinky beat. Strong female vocals move over the music, slightly Siouxsie-like, and sometimes chanting. The guitars hit quick, almost tricking you that the song’s about to rock out, but then the dance beat kicks in, like some peepshow creepshow, and you’re back dancing in black against the techno disco darkness. Some spooky keyboards, some hypnotic drones, and some nice October-stained songs, sneaking around like sharp fangs and sexy nights.
