Jetlag Dreams

Instinct

An aural tapestry that covers the ears with velvety calm, Jetlag Dreams is a pleasant dream of a CD. Incredible piano melodies that squeeze every delicious sound out of every note plod, dance, and skip along ambient soundscapes. This is a soothing work that borders on New Age and can remind one of George Winston, Jim Brickman, or Robin Spielberg. However, though drenched with a sweet melancholia, this talented quartet refuses to depend on cliché or trite, manipulative phrasings, instead culling forth genuine emotion and a heartfelt introspection. Jetlag Dreams is a hazy, dreamy mantra of calm that can flood the listener with tranquillity without making her/him start worshiping dolphins and crystals and looking for the lost kingdom of Atlantis.
