The Dragons

Rock ‘N Roll Kamikaze

Junk

Speedy, hard-drivin’, crusty solid rock. I’ve been hearing a lot about The Dragons over the last year, lots of positive buzz. It’s pretty much true for those into “sloppy” vocals over blazing-fast, three chord, rock guitars. There’s a trick to the album, though – see, what appears to be a simple album of cranking hot rod rock and roll is really produced to sound like a bombing run on your roof. I swear, someone did something on the last track (not counting the secret “bonus” track), “Kamikaze,” that vibrated the floor like a dinosaur. Standout songs are “Life Is Cheap”, “Three Steps from the Bar,” and “Like It’s a Bad Thing.”
