Live from the Justice League

TKO

Basically a live greatest hits package recorded by these Britpunks who’ve been around since back in the day, recorded at a club called the Justice League in San Francisco. The kids in the crowd were obviously thrilled to be able to see these guys actually play live, and the band responds in kind. Includes covers of Sham 69’s “If the Kids Are United” and The Clash’s “White Riot.” Lots of railing about racism and police oppression (in fact, there’s a song entitled “Police Oppression”) obviously inspired by Thatcherite Britain, but hey, the songs have that great Limey football terrace sing-along quality, and no doubt the problems addressed still exist and always will, to one extent or another.

If you don’t already have the studio albums and are into old school punk rock, buy, you fookin’ sod!
