Hearts In Atlantis

Music From the Motion Picture

Decca/ Universal

This is easily one of the best soundtracks in a really, really long time. Packed full of the best oldies, like “The Twist” (Chubby Checker), “Carol” (Chuck Berry), “Sleepwalk” (Santo And Johnny), “Only You (And You Alone)” (The Platters), “Sh-Boom (Life Could Be a Dream)” (The Crew Cuts), “Theme From A Summer Place” (Percy Faith and his Orchestra), and “Smoke Gets in Your Eyes” (The Platters). In addition to that, there are also four tracks of composition by Mychael Danna. It’s very basically a perfect feel-good, remember-the-times CD for all ages.
