Maximilian Hecker

Polyester EP

Kitty-Yo/EFA

Since this is a two-song EP, I don’t really feel qualified to say anything about Hecker beyond the tracks on here. A gentle but dramatic style centered around piano unites the two, and in that way, it’s reminiscent of Radiohead’s more studied moments. The title track is a bit more pop, while “The Days Are Long and Filled with Pain” is… well, long and filled with pain. I’d be curious to hear more.
