Technicolor

A1C EP

Dogprint

Electronic music that is as inoffensive, graceful, and pleasing as the swooping pastel designs that adorn the sleeves. Pleasantly lilting sounds chirp and sway over beats that mix in some clickiness without ever becoming jarring. Add in a tendency for repetitiveness and the equation might normally equal boring, but Technicolor seems to sidestep that pitfall. It does settle somewhat nicely into the background at points, but not really in a boring manner. No surprise that Technicolor is part of the Darla troupe, alongside musical compatriots such as Flowchart and Color Filter.
