Misty In Roots

Realworld
It’s been over 12 years since this British collective last entered the studio. No dancehall here – strictly roots. What they offer is a nice, mellow reggae that couldn’t offend an ear if it slapped it with its one drops. It’s nice beachfront reggae or the stuff you hear at suburban reggae bars. You’ll listen to it, nod approvingly, say you like it, then promptly forget it. Pleasurable enough – but fairly disposable stuff – like Black Uhuru after Michael Rose, Sly, and Robbie left. Strictly summer festival fair.
