Swampbytche

self-released

Ummm… What can I say? This is worse than any of the contestants I saw on American Idol this year, and there were some real pieces of crap on that show. I’m still trying to figure out if there’s a hidden camera on somewhere around me.

The first song is supposed to be power rock with female fronted vocals, but it’s little more than a train wreck. The vocals are super high in the mix, and they totally suppress ALL of the instruments. The lead female singer was trying to harmonize her vocal lines, but many of the harmonies were off, and it made the hair on the back of my neck stand up when she hit wrong notes, I kid you not.

There’s only three songs on this EP, and the last track is a cover of a song by Chaka Kahn, but it too, sounds like crap. I don’t know what the deal is with Swampbytche, whoever she is, but this is absolutely terrible. It seems like she didn’t even have somebody mix this so that all of the instruments were recorded at the same level. This would be good only as a beverage coaster.
