The Fight

Home is Where the Hate Is

Fat Wreck Chords

The Fight is a bunch of teenage punk kids from the United Kingdom, who play music that sounds like the meeting ground of Let’s Go-era Rancid and early Clash stuff. They feature a female vocalist who she sounds like a guy, but you wouldn’t be able to tell unless someone pointed it out to you.

In a nutshell, Home is Where the Hate Is is easily one of the most forgettable EPs I’ve heard in a long time. The songs are immature, pointless and way too predictable. I know, they’re only teenagers and they are on Fat Wreck Chords, so they probably deserve some kudos. But, I wouldn’t want my review to trick anyone into believing that this is anything more than what it is: average, boring, pointless snotty punk rock.
