The Sound of the Crowd

Films to Look For

The English “romantic zombie comedy” Shaun of the Dead opens in the States this friday, and I’m looking forward to it like crazy. Mostly because it stars, is written, and directed by some of the team from Spaced, a wonderful British sitcom about movies, video games, drugs and…oh just look here.

Or if you get the obscure cable network Trio, they’ve just started running the series. Trust me; it’s “da bomb,” and anything made by the same people is well worth checking out.

Tried to make a screening of the film last week but couldn’t get in, trying again tomorrow. Meanwhile, if my word isn’t good enough for you, check out this interview with star/writer Simon Pegg, co-star Nick Frost, & co-writer/director Edgar Wright.
