The Sound of the Crowd

You heard it here…first?

Kerry may be up in Florida by as many as six points, according to a new poll that there’s some small controversy swirling around. First, Atrios says he’s heard the poll was spiked by CBS News (in other words, they weren’t going to run it). Atrios thinks if they don’t run it, it’s because they’re cowards intimidated by Matt Drudge.

But then, and more recently, on The Kerry Spot on National Review, jim geraghty says he’s heard they’re going to run it after all, and that The New York Times “was afraid” to go with a similar poll yesterday. He doesn’t believe it, of course, because the knee-jerk response of the Bush supporter is to assume bias on the part of CBS and the New York Times (not that the idiots haven’t given them cause).

So what’s going to happen now? Dunno, but it’ll be interesting to see what turns up on CBS News tonight and in The New York Times tomorrow. Watch this space.
