The Sound of the Crowd

And that’s why I stopped reading the big newspapers, Charlie Bro

Media Matters for America points out:

“As of February 22, none of the five largest U.S. newspapers* (USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times and The Washington Post) had devoted an editorial on any aspect of the recent revelation that former Talon News Washington bureau chief and White House correspondent Jeff Gannon (aka James D. Guckert) was permitted to attend White House press briefings under an alias and despite having no credentials as a journalist.”

They further go on to list several smaller papers that have done so, including one from Tennessee. Did you hear me, Wall Street Journal? Tennessee!

ETA: I have a prediction to make. “Gannon” is going to turn up dead. You heard it here first. It’ll be in such a way that it’s either going to look as though:

1 He was the victim of “rough trade”–in other words, so homesexuals can be smeared.

  1. Or a suicide–in which case, people will blame the left bloggers who “outed” the man.

Why am I so convinced it’s about to become real dangerous to start “Gannon’s” car? Here’s the latest–he’s been keeping a journal since as far back as 2003. Wonder what’s in it.

See, I’m beginning to honestly think this is all down to him having a boyfriend in the White House who got him a cushy job.
