State of Georgia passes law banning fingerprints in licenses

Following concerns regarding identity theft, the state assembly of Georgia passed a law prohibiting the collection of fingerprints for drivers licenses.

This will likely cause friction between the state and the Federal Government, as the U.S. Congress continues to deliberate on a national standard for licenses that may include biometrics, depending on whatever the Secretary of Transport or Secretary of Homeland Security decides. </i>

My state actually gets it right for once. Lets see how long this lasts.
