The Sound of the Crowd

Much prefers his lovey-dovey to court when the temperature is lo

Pandagon has a good review of the Kinsey movie, recently released on video.

“I recommend this movie strongly, especially now that we have liberals spouting off about “compromising” with the censors and prudes about sex ed, reproductive rights, censorship, and gay rights. Maybe we need shot in the arm about the end result of ignorance and fear–broken marriages, unchecked disease, unplanned pregnancy, gay-bashing, and in the day and age of AIDS, death. Ours is not to “compromise” with people who think all these things are less important than not having to deal with icky pictures of icky penises and icky vaginas. Ours is to further the goals of education and common sense and putting people before idealogy and bigotry. We shouldn’t settle for less than that basic standard.”

There are one or two what you might call spoilers in the review, but it’s not exactly on the “Luke, I am your father” level. Nevertheless, let the clicker beware.
