Transference is healthy for children and other living things

In 1998, Dave Owen, then merchandise reviewer for Doctor Who Magazine, was heard to say at the Gallifrey convention in Los Angeles that his girlfriend had left him. So, in an act of spite, he’d taken a poor innocent Dr Who story that had done no harm to any one, and evascerated it when reviewing the video release.*

Yesterday, I received my first rejection as a screenwriter. On a completely unrelated matter, here is what I had to say on Amazon today about the book Silent Bob Speaks, by Kevin Smith.

*The story was Battlefield, which Doctor Who viewers in our audience will know did not deserve a lot of love.
