The Sound of the Crowd

Oh, well that explains it

You may have noticed that over the past month or so I have linked to items in Pandagon, and specifically by Amanda Marcotte, over a dozen times.

What can I say? She’s got a great eye for articles, a bawdy sense of humor, thoughtful things to say, good taste in movies and she’s pro-porn. And her voice in prose has that kind of snotty sexiness that only real men find attractive…

“Ahem.”

And some women. Sorry, Annabel.

But anyway, at the end of an entry she wrote yesterday, Governor Perry demonstrates his disdain for religious freedom, women, and gays in one sitting, I found the following revelation:

Frankly, I’m beginning to believe that pod people have taken over my state with the express purpose of making all Texans look like assholes.

Well that’s it, she’s from Texas! I love Texas women. The Dixie Chicks, Molly Ivins, Linda Ellerbee…Amanda Marcotte.

It all makes sense now.
