Milk

Exotic Recordings

Fans of the Foo Fighters will surely appreciate the adrenaline-fuelled rock that Planeside deliver on their sophomore album, Milk. Vocalist Dave Harris’s voice bears more than a passing resemblance to Dave Grohl’s, especially on the thumping opening track, “My Sweet Revenge”; and the fast, furious and melodic hard rock of the album is also definitely reminiscent of the former Nirvana drummer’s multi-million selling outfit.

After stints opening for such rock luminaries as Pennywise, The Strokes and Queens of the Stone Age, Planeside have already established themselves as serious contenders. With songs as good as the excellent rock anthem “Aunt Polly’s Dream” and the moody, ferocious riffs of “Going To Grilder,” there’s every chance the New York-based trio could graduate to the next level.
