How democracy works
Forget all that “one man one vote” crap you learned in elementary school.
Don’t get sidetracked by dear leaders words of 2003 either:
“The good and capable people of the Middle East all deserve responsible leadership,” he said.
“For too long, many people in that region have been victims and subjects. They deserve to be active citizens.” </i>
Heres how it actually works.
People vote in an election deemed legitmate by watchdog groups.
People elect a group unsuitable to the US.
The US then decides to reward democracy by refusing them medical aid.
New lesson in democracy?
You vote. You die. If George Bush says so.
