My letter to ABC

Dear Mr. Iger:
Why is your company attempting to profit from the deaths of nearly 3000 of its fellow citizens? Why are you peddling lies and distortions as fact- to children even- about one of America’s darkest days?
Does a tiny uptick in quarterly sales graph makeup for shaming the memory of those who died on this day? You know your story is a lie- that’s why you’re hiding it from the very people you defame in it- such as a former President.
This is only one of countless thousands of emails you’ll receive on this subject. The misrepresentations have been pointed out to you a dozen times, yet the show will air largely as filmed.
To attempt to influence voters a few months before an election via the most powerful medium in the nation, with the backing of the ruling party- with outright lies and distortions?
Why, some would call that treasonous.
Because it is. Our country deserves better than the likes of you, tossing fact aside like a used tissue when it suits. Those who died on 9/11, and those that continue to die in harms way everyday because of wrongheaded, scared buffoons such as yourself put them there, they deserve respect. And justice.
They don’t deserve your treatment of them.
