Then why bring it up, you power abusing sexual predator? Even if what you state is true, (and since you’re a republican, we’ll take it with a truckload of salt), it doesn’t matter. You did whatever felt good to you at any given moment, costs be damned. You said one thing in public- as the chairman on a committee to protect children, oh, isn’t that rich- and then left the house floor during a vote on the war to spank the monkey with a child via your Blackberry .
Now I’m gonna hold my nose and vote dem in November, and I suspect a lot of people will do the same- or stay home in protest if they are republican- either way, we’ll take a small step toward bringing our country back from the edge of the abyss that bush and his marching morons have drug us to. In fact, to help the democrats along, (and lord knows, they are so craven and stupid that they need all the help they can get) I have a new campaign slogan for them. Run this- and only this- on every ad between now and November 7th:
The Republican Party wants you to believe they will protect you from terrorists.
They can’t even protect your children from themselves. </b></i>
Show that over a montage of bush, hasert, foley et al, and its Speaker Pelosi (and Defendent Bush) come November.
Now, for the predictions:
One, the other shoe hasn’t dropped in the Foley case yet, and I’m not referring to that bloated, corrupt sack of shit Dennis Hasert sliming his way out of town in shame. No, I predict, sadly, that it will become known that Foley has had physical contact with one of these kids. He resigned too fast for it to be anything else. In fact, some of the recently released IM’s mention a meeting with a page in San Diego. Expect to hear more on that, probably by the weekend.
And lastly, due to the corruption rampant in the Republican party in regards to vote counting in this country, helped along by the weak-knee’d and ball-less “opposition party”, the Republicans will maintain control of Congress come November.
And after that, my friends, all bets are off. Child humping congressmen will be the least of our worries.
