James Morrison

James Morrison’s seductive voice and melodic songs have already won him a huge following in the UK, and his blend of smooth soul and pop should see him prove to be very popular in the US as well.

“Wonderful World” is one of the songs that kicked off his career in the UK, and with good reason — it’s an infectious slice of commercial soul that should delight radio executives across the country. Morrison’s influences are listed as Otis Redding and Al Green, but although his music can’t compete with that of his idols, the likes of “You Give Me Something” and the title track should ensure that Morrison doesn’t remain undiscovered in the US for too long.
