Stench of Redemption

Earache Records

In which a rejuvenated Deicide (fare thee well, Brothers Hoffman) offer forth feral, undeniably vicious blasts of new model sonic extremity. Stench of Redemption gives second-wave death metal’s knotted veins a much needed shot in the arm with pure fucking Satanic steroids. And if it seems Deicide is never again fated to reach the beautifully sickening lows of Deicide or Legion, well, what of it? The power and conviction in these new songs is nigh-on overwhelming. Only a band left to fester in the unholy heat of the Florida swamps could summon forth such regimented sickness. Pure charnel housemusick.
