CD Review – Linda Draper (for all you folkies)
Bridge and Tunnel
Planting Seeds Records
For all of you that prefer straight up traditional folk, Linda Draper is the artist for you. On her sixth album Draper delivers more of her trademark acoustic-folk that is perfect for relaxing on a Sunday afternoon, spiced up with a creepy cover of Rolling Stones’ “Mother’s Little Helper.” Her whisper soft voice gives the song a psychotic twist that Mick Jagger could never accomplish.
