Straight No Chaser

CD Review – Music Go Music (Disco fans rejoice)

Expressions

Secretly Canadian

By taking the best parts of disco (ripping off ABBA) and adding a hint of psychodelic rock, Music Go Music has made an album that should have been repulsive (for all non-Disco lovers) and made it tolerable. “Thousand Crazy Nights” and “Light of Love” sound as if they could have come directly from the ABBA songbook and taken a detour through The Monkees catelogue. If you like disco, you will love this album. If you don’t, then you can at least sit through it without having suicidal thoughts.
