Straight No Chaser

CD Review – The Go Find

Everybody Knows It’s Gonna Happen Only Not Tonight

Etherial synth-pop dominates the album, but it makes for some unique music that fills that lo-fi spot in your soul that you didn’t even know you had.

“It’s Automatic” is a quirky lo-fi track that will get in your head and stay there for a long time, while “Neighborhood” sounds like a discarded Wilco track.

Each of the 11 tracks is a gem. When I initially started listening to this album, I wasn’t impressed. I thought it was boring. But by the third track, I was on the same wavelength and completely in the groove. The Go Find may not blow you away, but they will quietly get in your head and stay put for quite a while.
