Manuel Muzzu

New Stories / Old Hands

Manuel Muzzu is a talented musician with a passion for jazz and fusion. His style is very diverse, borrowing from a vast musical background. What’s really special about his music is definitely the artist’s groundbreaking ability to combine his technical expertise with his life-long passion for songwriting. His most recent studio release is actually a perfect example.

This new album features ten studio tracks. Each song has a unique soul, and there are many different emotions portrayed on this particular effort. In addition to that, the musical arrangements are nothing short of spectacular. Muzzu is a talented bass player and an accomplished instrumentalist. While some bass players aim to fill up the low-end on their tracks, Muzzo has a much broader approach. He is able to play with groove, and musicality, allowing the bass to bring in so much melody and not just sustained lows.

This album has a sophisticated, smooth, yet catchy and dynamic sound. Any fan of great fusion and jazz will certainly appreciate it.
