Minuscule – Mandibles from Far Away

Everybody loves a cute animated bug movie, and this light weight kids film is full of fanciful characters, brilliant high-tech animation, and a plot line aimed at short attention span kiddos.
Ladybugs and slugs are our protagonists, and the story starts in the south of France. A crisis in the Caribbean transmitted in bug Morse Code propels unnamed characters on a fanciful ocean voyage. Lady Bugs and Leaf Hoppers and Fuzz Bugs take flight in a galleon held aloft by party balloons and wish full engineering. On Guadeloupe, evil capitalists plan a resort only to be thwarted by insect power. The plot gets a C-minus, but the creatures an A-plus for a praying mantis nuclear family and interracial bug dating, and we learn how to make a three-ton shark puke you up on the beach. See this for the animation and let the beautiful images flow over you.
