Live at the North Sea Jazz Festival

VinnieVibes Music

Vincent Houdijk & Vinnievibes recently released a new live album that showcases the group’s prowess on a stage, and it is truly highlighting their world-class musicianship.

Houdijk’s vibraphone playing is incredibly nuanced and melodic, and it locks in perfectly well with the rest of the musical backdrop. However, this release is also excellent because of the sheer energy and attitude this group managed to bring to the table. Live at the North Sea Jazz Festival is a precious testimony of a band that knows how to own the stage and captivate the audience with dream-like melodies and expressive compositions. The album features several eloquent musical numbers where the vibraphone is the absolute highlight, giving a rounded, flavorful tone to the whole mix. The vibraphone is unique in the fact that it is a melodic instrument which also has a percussive element to it. It makes for a really special approach, giving the audience a unique experience of the material presented in the show.
