El Camino (10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition)

Nonesuch Records

El Camino, the landmark 7th studio album by The Black Keys, has hit the 10-year milestone, and the band has released a number of incredible editions to commemorate this killer album. El Camino was produced by Danger Mouse and The Black Keys and was recorded in the band’s then-new hometown of Nashville during the spring of 2011. The Black Keys won three awards at the 55th annual GRAMMY Awards for El Camino—Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song, and Best Rock Album—among other worldwide accolades.

The Super Deluxe version is a total of 5 albums and includes the remastered album, a previously unreleased live concert from Portland, Maine, a BBC Radio One Zane Lowe Session, and my favorite piece of audio heaven, a 2011 Electro-Vox session that is even crunchier than the original tracks. The 3-LP set includes the remastered album and the live concert. Both versions are also available on CD as well.

The Black Keys have been pulling out all the stops on these re-releases, and while some artists will simply redo some artwork and add some new notes, The Black Keys are giving the fans their money’s worth each time with remastered music and alternative versions of their songs. Check out the deluxe El Camino on your favorite streaming service or head to any online retailer to grab your favorite version. Visit their website as well to check out their exclusive white vinyl copy and a ton of must have merch for the die-hard fan.
