Foo Fighters ensured a buzz-worthy concert event when they brought along Jimmy Eat World and Against Me! for an evening of big rock in Orlando. Jen Cray was not about to miss this unforgettable night.

The Orlando date of the Against Me! tour was scheduled in competition with the annual Anti Pop Fest, but the band’s loyal followers could not be deterred. Jen Cray skipped out on the multitude of alternate shows happening downtown to spend another evening with these Gainesville boys.

Despite decades of punk being neutered by the media and the marketplace, Matthew Moyer is heartened to find that the artwork collected in this retrospective still has the power to outrage and inspire.

The Social, in Orlando, has been frequently offering two-night residencies to bands that can easily sell out the small venue. Booking the bill with big talent and odd packaging, these shows are usually a hot ticket and always memorable. For a holiday treat in December, Bouncing Souls were the band in big letters with hefty support from The Street Dogs , Whole Wheat Bread and World/Inferno Friendship Society. Jen Cray was there for the mayhem on night #2.
