Hush b/w Doin’ 12”

Slinkey/Rampant

After a brief absence, Rampant Recordings resurfaces with two new releases. I couldn’t imagine a better means to show off their latest signings than by launching Slinkey, a sub label strictly devoted to the progressive and trancier end of the dancefloor. “Hush” is the subtler of the two tracks, while “Doin’ Yo’ Head In” goes straight for that adrenal gland. With domestics such as Slinkey, DJ’s will no longer be forced to pay import prices for a sound that seems to be gaining momentum right here in our own back yard. Amen. Rampant, 1447 12th St., Suite D, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
