Gerald Collier

Revolution

Formerly with Best Kissers in the World, Gerald Collier transcends the band’s major-label disaster to produce an album that clearly presents his talent. Whether the world is intelligent enough to appreciate his talent (they didn’t before, at least not too much) remains to be seen. Interesting chording and lyrics like “God is great, God is good, God takes everyone except the ones he should” don’t seem to pack the stadiums these days, which is a real shame. But enough beer-salting about the injustices of the world. This is available just about everywhere, so if you can appreciate introspective and intelligent lyrics wrapped around well-crafted melodies, head down to your local record store to pick up your new favorite record.
