This compilation CD contains many of the big electronic hit songs from the past year, as well as remixes of a variety of other songs. Featured are Propellerheads, Fatboy Slim, Moby, BT, Cornershop, Garbage, Gus Gus, the Crystal Method, and others. Most tracks throb with a big beat, electronic sound. Cornershop’s “Brimful of Asha” is interestingly mixed by Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim), and Garbage’s “I Think I’m Paranoid” is morphed, almost inaudibly, into “I’m Think I’m Crystalized.” This is not the most original DJ mix album but it would certainly do well to liven up your next party.
